A complete and very in-depth look at the Comm1 VFR radio simulator. This tool is designed to teach and reinforce your radio communications skills while flying under VFR conditions. It’s not a CD or DVD, but rather software you install on your computer and actually interact with in the same way you would with controllers when you’re flying. Many pilots will use a checklist as a set of instructions, carefully going through each step one at a time before moving on to the next one. This may seem like it would be the most thorough procedure, but it’s extremely easy to accidentally skip an item and never realize it.
