Most flight schools will have you focus a huge chunk of your time learning navigation. As a pilot, it’s your duty to know exactly where you are at any given time. The latest tools being used are GPS systems, but you’ll find most of your training revolves around the old standby VOR’s.

Hopefully these tips will help you get ready for your checkride. But remember, there is no secret formula for passing your checkride. Either you know what you’re doing or you don’t. But, these should help.
