This should be SO engrained in your head before you get signed off on your check ride.  Do NOT for get this.  If you execute a flawless steep turn, but didn’t to a clearing turn before hand, you’ll fail.&quot;  Great advice on always doing clearing turns, but seeing as a steep turn is the one maneuver that does not require a clearing turn you would not end up failing if you executed it flawlessly.</description>
